Having been ousted from professional footballer as a player by the legendary Brian Clough, Russell has been driven to work professionally at the highest levels of sport and is currently Director of GFG Education Ltd, PAM Consultancy Services Ltd and Futelite Ltd
For the past 12 years alongside Malcolm Frame lead psychologist at Southampton FC they have been inspired to successfully integrate technology into learning and training programmes for students of all ages inside and outside the sports industry.
Their awareness that we are at the start of an age that will see a totally new approach to the way students engage in learning has been the focal point of their efforts.
Malcolm’s work at Southampton FC Academy regarded as the best in the world by many, and Russell’s role at 2016 Premier League Champions Leicester City and as head of the remarkably successful REFA Academy project in Valencia has enabled them to develop ground breaking performance anatomy programmes.
In 2012 they co-wrote an award winning learning programme associated with the London Olympic Games.
As the pace of change begins to accelerate, Russell has built around him a team of experts that share a mission to impact on Education integrating Technology into a wide range of exponential learning programmes, that offer a new way of approaching the delivery of education and training globally.
The team is currently developing collaborative agreements involving the UK and Chinese Education and Football sectors.
After achieved a successful career in the private sector in China, Xiaoli came to the UK in 2003 to study at the University of Manchester where she completed her MSc in Human Resources Development with distinction and a PhD in Development Policy and Management with full scholarship.
Based in the UK, Xiaoli has worked in the education sector since 2009 both as a consultant to provide education solutions to China-based clients and as an International Business Development specialist to FE Colleges. Xiaoli was the International Business Development Manager at Stratford-upon-Avon College and later the interim Director for International Business Development at Kensington and Chelsea College briefly. She is one of the founding partners of PAM Education Consultancy Services Company Limited. Her responsibilities include international business development, transnational learning programme design, learning content development and project management. She has developed sound understanding of the education system both in the UK and in China through her work experience in the UK which enables her to facilitate transnational education project effectively.
Prior to the UK, Xiaoli had a diversified career in China. Her first job after left the university was a management trainee in a joint venture hotel in Beijing. Five year later, she won an opportunity to study at the School of Travel Industry Management at University of Hawaii for a year on a professional training programme with government funding. Upon completion, she decided to take her skills into another arena and have a potentially larger impact. She then joined one of the world leading human resource management solutions companies, Korn/Ferry International where she led various project teams to deliver many high profile executive level recruitment projects for Fortune 500 multinational companies, private companies, and State-owned enterprises in Greater China region. As a general practitioner, she was involved in business development activities across all K/F’s specialised practices. As a result, she had the opportunity to work with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and senior executives of top organisations and engaging in business discussions with them.
She is in the core team to design and implement the Lu Ban Workshop (Chinese Culinary Art) project. Besides project management, she is heavily involved in developing learning resources to support the delivery of Chinese Culinary Art programmes of study.
Mr Brogden has worked in the education sector since 1988. Having graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1985 with an Honours Degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology, prior to which he studied Pharmacology and Physiology at Leeds Polytechnic. Having taken the decision to make a career change; Ray was formerly a Forensic Scientist, employed by the Home Office, he studied for a Post Graduate qualification in Further Education teaching, graduating with a distinction. Ray took up a teaching position in the city of Lancaster shortly after graduating, where he continued his studies on the Master of Education Course. Ray has recently completed a post graduate qualification in Strategic Management.
His roles have subsequently included: Senior Management and Deputy Principal roles at colleges in Leeds, Lancaster and Stratford Upon Avon College and member of the college Executive with responsibilities that include quality assurance and quality improvement associated with curriculum design, development and delivery. Ray also combined his role at Stratford College with Chief Operating Officer of Qualifi Ltd, an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation, his responsibilities include policy and procedure development, oversight of approved centre compliance, quality assurance and production of the annual Statement of Compliance and associated evidence base. The statement of Compliance provides information to the Government regulator, outlining how an Awarding Organisation is meeting their required standards; outlined within the Ofqual General Conditions of Recognition.
Ray has been a Lead Inspector for five years with a Government approved educational oversight and regulatory body authorised by the UK Visa and Immigration authorities to inspect privately funded further education colleges and English language schools in England and Wales. Prior to working at Stratford upon Avon College he was Director of Workforce Development for the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and the Institute of Swimming (IoS). A period of time outside of the UK resulted from being appointed to establish Orchid Education in Cairo, Egypt and his running its operation in the UK. In doing so Ray was successful in gaining approval from the UK as an accredited learning provider for the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) , the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and a listed training and exam centre for the Chartered Institute of Management and Accounting (CIMA).
More recently Ray has been instrumental in establishing an A-level programme and Cambridge International Assessment approval at the Affiliated School of Xiamen Institute of Technology where he is currently the Principal of the International Curriculum. Successful accreditation is achieved as a consequence of establishing robust quality assurance and quality improvement policies, procedures and compliance checks. As compliance director for PAM Education – Ray brings this wealth of experience to the board and is able to ensure all Lu Ban Workshop programmes set and maintain outstanding levels standards and quality.
