Following the highly successful re-launch of the Impact Apprentices in Mind learning resources, the Coventry based company are delighted to announce a further updated version aimed at trainees, apprentices and players building a career in the football industry. The 12 module set of resources follows on from the core modules, designed to help players develop their behaviours, attitudes and personal development skills. At the same time, the content has been written , so that coaches and tutors can work together to help maximise the potential of everyone in the academy.

Initial feedback has been extremely positive from clubs and players in the UK and overseas, with reports that the content is engaging, informative and of long term benefit to players, coaches and mentors.

Russell Grocott, a former head of education at Leicester City F.C has overseen the content development,  commented:

‘The programme has been put together, by a team that have been involved in the game from grassroots through to the Premier League. The learning is designed around case studies based on some of the leading names in football, but contextualised to deal with the real issues, young players are facing in both the professional academies and semi-professional organisations. Our AiM is provide a foundation that will provide players with support and learning that will help them through the good and bad times that are a reality within the game’

Russell Grocott

The programme has been written to meet the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework requirements and is available at Level 1,2 and 3 for all players aged 16-24.
