Liverpool’s Lu Ban Bar and Restaurant have launched a £12K brunch giveaway competition to honour the region’s NHS workers.
Over the next 12 months, Lu Ban is reserving an exclusive table for four people every weekend to tuck into its famous bottomless brunches
There will be one designated table to be won each Saturday and Sunday across the year – meaning a total giveaway of 104 prizes or 416 bottomless brunches worth a staggering £12,272.
The restaurant, located in the former Cain’s Brewery, reopened last week after being closed as result of the Covid-19 lockdown and wanted to recognise the hard work and dedication of NHS workers, who have been at the forefront during the pandemic.
Lu Ban Bar and Restaurant executive head chef Dave Critchley said:
“We want to say thank you to our NHS heroes. Before we opened, we sat down as a team and discussed what we could do to say thanks – and the result is this monumental competition.
“We know that the nurses, doctors, ambulance drivers, admin staff and everyone else in the NHS are incredibly dedicated to their job and rarely get a chance to spend quality time with their friends or family.
“We want to give them an amazing experience where they can do just that. Every Saturday and Sunday from August we’ll have a table especially for a winning NHS worker and three guests. They can enjoy everything on the bottomless brunch menu – which also includes a selection of drinks.
“What is an amazing coincidence is when we totalled up the value of the prize – it ended in number 72 which is perfect given the NHS is celebrating its 72nd year.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming our NHS heroes to the restaurant over the next year.”
To enter the competition’s free monthly draw, NHS workers just have to nominate themselves or be nominated via Lu Ban Liverpool’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter social media channels, follow or like on the same platform they are entering and supply an email address. (See the website for all entry requirements and full terms and conditions).
The first draw will be made on July 20th.
